*well, except that I’m pretty attached to my Brita nope switched to Pur. Brita blows. The expensive part that attaches to the faucet always breaks and then we end up doing something like this to try to hold it together. The last straw was when we had guests and one woke up at 3am to get some water and I woke up too and went to the kitchen to make sure he knew how to work the faucet and didn’t spray himself. I ended up giving up and going back to bed partway through the effort but still.

I had faucet filter (bought it about a year or two ago!), but could not find replacement filter. Brita told me they don’t produce those anymore!! They sent me some crappy inferior NEW one that I hate and it costs same $25+. They made new stuff that’s inferior and same money. No more BRITA for me.

The new replacement faucet filter that BRITA sent me is MUCH MUCH WORSE! It’s indeed a JOKE! After I attached it to the faucet and turned it on to flush/activate for 5 minutes water exploded through all ends and holes possible wetting everything around it. The NEW filter won’t let water through! Then when I switch to “no filter” mode it releases water in an ugly messed up “stream” downwards and sideways as well. You would assume I did not screw attach it properly? I did! This is definitely an INTENTIONAL JOKE by “brita”. ***Vomit*** I’m withdrawing from any kind of consumer spending as these corporations have become impudent, disrespectful and downright abusive. I wil survive without their “tools” and “civilization”.
